Label Design for the organic red wine Terrae (Merlot & Agiorgitiko) by Ephira Elegant Wines.
The name Terrae, derived from the Latin word for earth, formed the foundation of the design concept and expresses the wine’s close relationship with the soil, the altitude, and the natural conditions of the vineyard.
The label was designed as a contemporary and refined interpretation of the land and the wine’s origin, with a clear focus on its organic character.
The central element of the label is an organic, topographic symbol inspired by the natural curves of the earth and the elevation at which the vineyard is cultivated. At the same time, its form recalls the cross-section of a tree trunk, reinforcing the ideas of nature, growth, and connection to the natural environment. The three stars that accompany the symbol represent the harmony between land, climate, and human presence, while adding a subtle, elegant reference to Ephira’s brand philosophy.
The selected paper features a natural texture that reinforces the authenticity and organic nature of the label, while the copper foil stamping subtly references the region’s red soil and the wine’s deep red color, adding a sense of understated luxury to the design.
Σχεδιασμός Ετικέτας για το βιολογικό ερυθρό κρασί Terrae (Merlot & Αγιωργίτικο) της Ephira Elegant Wines.
Η ονομασία Terrae, από τη λατινική λέξη για τη γη, αποτέλεσε τη βάση του σχεδιαστικού concept και εκφράζει τη στενή σχέση του κρασιού με το έδαφος, το υψόμετρο και τις φυσικές συνθήκες του αμπελώνα. Η ετικέτα σχεδιάστηκε ως μια σύγχρονη, κομψή αποτύπωση της γης και της προέλευσης του κρασιού, με έμφαση στον βιολογικό του χαρακτήρα.
Το κεντρικό στοιχείο της ετικέτας είναι ένα οργανικό, τοπογραφικό σύμβολο που παραπέμπει στις καμπύλες της γης και στο υψόμετρο όπου καλλιεργείται το αμπέλι. Παράλληλα, η μορφή του θυμίζει την εγκάρσια τομή ενός κορμού, ενισχύοντας την έννοια της φύσης, της ανάπτυξης και της σύνδεσης με το φυσικό περιβάλλον. Τα τρία αστέρια που το πλαισιώνουν λειτουργούν συμβολικά ως η αρμονία ανάμεσα στη γη, το κλίμα και τον άνθρωπο ενώ προσθέτουν μια διακριτική elegant αναφορά στη φιλοσοφία της Ephira.
Η επιλογή χαρτιού με φυσική υφή ενισχύει την αυθεντικότητα και τον βιολογικό χαρακτήρα της ετικέτας, ενώ η μεταλλοτυπία χαλκού δημιουργεί μια αναφορά στο κοκκινόχωμα της περιοχής και στο βαθύ κόκκινο χρώμα του κρασιού, προσδίδοντας μια ήρεμη αλλά πολυτελή αισθητική στο σύνολο του σχεδιασμού.
